Expungement Sealing in Ellis County
RECEIVE HELP FROM A CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY
I, Robin McCarty, seek to provide fast and thorough legal services to defend your rights in court. Many people don’t realize that their criminal records are available to everyone, including prospective employers, neighbors, or anyone else who wants to view their criminal history.
Even after successfully completing your term of deferred adjudication, your records are open until a judge signs an “Order of Nondisclosure.” As an experienced Ellis County criminal defense attorney, I know how to draft your petition for nondisclosure and persuasively argue it to the judge so that you can seal your arrest records and protect your future.

IMPORTANCE OF RECORD EXPUNGEMENT
Expungement is the complete sealing of all records and any charges that resulted from a particular arrest. After an order of expunction is signed by a judge, it is as though the arrest never happened. Some offenses require waiting periods before you can become eligible for non-disclosure, and there are some offenses for which you may not become eligible for record expungement. For example, a person does not qualify for expungement if their arrest resulted in a deferred adjudication for a crime classified higher than a Class C Misdemeanor.
As an Ellis County criminal defense attorney, I can work with you to determine your eligibility for expungement. My passion and meticulous attention to detail can build your case and present a clear, firm argument to the judge. You don’t have to live under the burden of your past mistakes.
